Talk

It's estimated that 50 people are killed by CO poisoning, and at least 4,000 are treated in hospital a year. This figure it likely to be much higher as CO poisoning is very difficult to diagnose as symptoms are often similar to common illnesses like flu and food poisoning.

It's important that if you are suffering these symptoms that you talk to your local GP and contact a registered gas engineer.

Protect

At least 35 million people are at risk from CO poisoning within the UK. Only 81% of people know that CO can kill, despite this only 39% said that they have an audible alarm. Of those without an alarm, 42% said this was because they have a smoke alarm.

Whether you're a homeowner or landlord, protect life by purchasing an audible CO alarm from your local DIY store.
